Description
What is More Tools?
As it turns out, exactly what the title implies!
This Datapack and Resoucepack adds 4 new vanilla+
style toolsets to your Minecraft world or server,
fully customizable and compatible with future item sets.
You can use the Resourcepack to add the items into your current
custom item setup or use the Datapack if you’re running Vanilla.
Who is this product for?
This product is meant for any server owner who wants to keep
the 16×16 aesthetic Minecraft comes with outside the box.
It’s also perfect quick plug and play add-on for SMP servers.
The datapack is fully configured with default
features that can be
customized with basic command block knowledge.
While this product comes with a Datapack, you are free to implement
the textures into your own setup.
How does the Datapack work?
The Datapack covers the crafting and functions you can attach
to any of the tools in this pack.
Minecraft doesn’t support crafting items with custom NBT directly,
so I take advantage of the knowledge book to give the player the
item after crafting, just take the box looking item you get when
crafting an item and it will automagically get replaced!
The Datapack comes with a function file you can modify to give the tools
custom abilities when held by a player, more info and documentation
can be found in the README.txt found in the zipped folder.
Here are the specific items that you need for each set:
You can use this site to change the recipes.
Just save them as new json files and replace the ones found inside
the “recipes” folder found inside the datapack, just make sure the
output is set to be a “knowledge_book”.
How to install the Datapack
Move the folder called “More Tools Datapack” into the folder called “datapacks”
located inside your world folder, here’s a guide with more information.

Easy to set up doesn’t conflict with anything, personally not using the data pack as I have other plans but besides that the tools look amazing.
