The Noctanther is a deadly mythical hybrid resembling a lion, a panther, and a bat. This winged terror has extremely sharp fangs and claws, allowing them tear up their prey with ease.

Additionally, they have giant bat wings attached to their front two legs allowing them to take to the skies and deal damage from above.

A typical fight with the Noctanther has two phases: a melee phase, and a ranged phase.

By default, Noctanthers crawl out of the ground and spend the beginning half of the fight on ground, occasionally leaping towards their target, swiping at them, and biting them.

Once they reach below half health, however, they'll take to the skies, becoming immune to melee damage. At this stage, the only way to deal damage to the Noctanther is via projectiles.

While flying, Noctanthers will shoot balls of shadow energy from their mouths, and occasionally fly down with their talons outstretched, scratching up their prey.

But most importantly, they offer a simple extension to Minecraft in the form of some new creatures. Hope you all enjoy it!
