Historical Medieval Duelist Boss

Duel Alfonso del Rio del Azahar across two phases: a greatsword brawler with a flintlock pistol, then a rapier and dagger duelist whose guard only breaks with perfect timing. Includes a playable Rapier to parry, deflect, and dash.

What is included

Phase 1: The Greatsword

• Heavy swings and combos, pistol shots you can deflect, and a sand kick that blinds

• Counters if you hit him while he blocks, and charges with an unblockable lunge if you keep your distance

• Perfectly parry his swings to stagger him and strike back

• At half health he grips the sword with both hands for 90 seconds: his guard never drops, so only hit him while he attacks

Phase 2: The Rapier

• Near death, he plants his greatsword in the ground and returns with rapier and dagger

• His guard blocks every attack: break it with a perfect parry or by hitting the blade of his rapier mid-attack, then strike during the short opening

• Fast thrusts and slashes, leaping attacks if you stay away, and the occasional sand kick

The Rapier

• Hold right-click to guard, and raise it just as a hit lands for a perfect parry

• Deflect his pistol shots and sneak to dash

• Attacks marked in red can't be blocked, so dodge them
