Update Log: Awakening Dragon
General Dragon System Overhaul
Movement & AI Improvements:
Enhanced walking animations for a more realistic and fluid feel.
New AI logic: The dragon will now actively pathfind toward enemies when they exceed a specific distance.
Improved Boss tracking: Facing and turning logic now follows targets more naturally.
Hitbox Refinement:
Reduced the size of the Main Hitbox.
Added 3 Supplemental Hitboxes: Head, Chest, and Back.
Weak Point Mechanics: The Head hitbox now takes increased damage (Default: 1.5x multiplier, configurable via variables).
Immersive Audio & Effects:
Added periodic dragon roars.
Added idle breathing sound effects.
Added dynamic footstep sounds and movement particles.
Upgraded vocalizations and wing-flap sound effects during skill execution.
UI & Configuration:
Added a Boss Health Bar compatible with both Nexo and ItemsAdder.
Introduced new Variables for easy balancing (Damage, Knockback, etc.) within the
AwakeningDragon.ymlfile.
Skill Enhancements & Logic
Skill execution patterns have been redesigned to be more dimensional and diverse. #### 1. Basic Attack: Bite
Old: Dealt AOE damage in a circle around the dragon.
New: Now deals damage in a conical area strictly in front of the dragon.
#### 2. Wing Buffet (Wing Flick)
Improvements: Enhanced audio and turning animations.
Logic: Randomly triggered when enemies are within range.
Config: Added Damage variables.
#### 3. Dragon Breath
Improvements: Hitbox timing now perfectly syncs with the animation; upgraded visual effects.
Condition: Triggered after the dragon receives a specific number of hits (configurable).
#### 4. Earthquake
Old: The boss flew up and landed on a pre-determined animation coordinate.
New: The boss flies upward, locks onto a player/target, and dives directly onto their position.
Charge Mechanic: Added a "Skill Point" gauge behind the health bar.
Conditions:
Triggered when hit count reaches the threshold.
Fast Charge: Gains points 4x faster if damaged from over 8 blocks away or by ranged weapons.
Critical Charge: Gains points 5x faster if hit in the Head hitbox.
#### 5. Dimension Dash
Condition: Triggered when the boss takes a specific amount of damage from the side or rear.
Config: Damage variables added to the configuration file.
#### 6. Skyfall
Condition: Fixed 300-second cooldown.

Charges into a sphere of pure energy, launching into the sky and crashing down at supersonic speed.
Deals massive area damage and pulls in nearby living creatures before impact.
📦 Skyfall — Cataclysmic Roar
Unleashes a roar that echoes across the land, summoning energy from The End to restore its vitality and shake the earth itself.
