Vanilla Remodels is a series of asset packs designed to reimagine the equipment and items available in vanilla. Tell a story with your items visually, show don’t tell. No longer will your tools and weapons be recolors of each other!

How DO you craft a pickaxe…? No matter. As long as you can hit a rock with it and end up with two rocks, it doesn’t really matter. You make the wooden pickaxe out of branches and rope. Really not much to it beyond that.

Ready to crack open a geode and find your resource goodies inside? This stone hammer is happy to help, even if it won’t help you in harvesting much more than iron.

Pierce through stone with this golden pickaxe! Or at least, try to. The stone will fall by your hands, but gold isn’t exactly the best material to be making tools out of…

Finally, a real pickaxe! This iron pickaxe is trusty and dependable. Bound in cloth to spare your hands from splinters, you’ll be seeing a lot of this tool. Treat it well, and it’ll make sure you get home by nightfall.

A step above! The diamond pickaxe is mystical and durable. There’s a reason they’re preferred by the more lucrative miners. Even the densest of rocks stand no match for this gemstone tipped instrument of tunneling!

This asset pack has a bonus feature! In the download, you will find the old draft version of the pickaxes! In case you like one of them more than the polished ones included in the pack. You’re free to use them however you see fit!

These pickaxes weren’t deemed to fit the style of the other vanilla remodeled items, so they’re included here free of charge for archival purposes. Have fun!
