Protector Karo and Healer Serai are a coordinated Champion duo of the Khan’s RPG Champions line.

Together, they form a lethal synergy of defense and restoration. Karo stands as an unbreakable frontline guardian, while Serai commands radiant magic from behind his shield. Players must dismantle Karo’s defenses to reach Serai, who takes increased damage but relentlessly heals her protector whenever her spells strike him.
As the fight escalates through multiple phases, their coordination becomes deadlier, forcing players to manage shields, positioning, and overwhelming pressure.

Core Mechanics

• Shield Link
  Karo projects protective shields around Serai. These shields must be broken before Serai can be damaged. Serai receives increased damage when exposed, making aggressive shield-breaking highly rewarding.

• Sacred Rebound
  Whenever Serai’s spells strike Karo, he is healed, reinforcing their defensive synergy and forcing players to prioritize interrupts and positioning.

• Guardian Recall
  Karo frequently leaps back to Serai, instantly re-establishing her shields and resetting the protection cycle.

  Phase 1

  Serai — Purging Light
  A radiant beam descends from the sky, damaging all players in its radius. A sound cue and visual indicator warn players just before impact.

  Karo — Shield Bash V2
  Karo strikes twice with crushing force. Each strike deals massive damage and carries a small chance to stun, signaled by an audible cue.

  Serai — Cascade Bolts
  Serai unleashes five consecutive waves of cascading projectiles, creating intense bullet-hell pressure across the battlefield.

  Karo — Aegis Fragment
  Karo hurls his shield fragment at a target. On impact, the fragment slows the victim, allowing Serai’s spells to land with deadly precision.

  Serai channels four successive beam waves, each preceded by an indicator. The beam patterns vary each cast, forcing players to adapt quickly.

  Karo — Aegis Charge
  Karo prepares and charges in a straight line, damaging everything in his path. At the end of the charge, he slams his shield into the ground, dealing massive damage and violently knocking players back.

Playstyle

This encounter is built around target priority, coordination, and shield management.
Players must continuously break Karo’s defenses to expose Serai, punish her during her vulnerable windows, and prevent her from sustaining Karo through spell contact. As phases escalate, projectile pressure, beam control, and aggressive charges transform the fight into a full-scale raid-style battle that tests teamwork and precision.
