Clatter

Clatter is an armored crab that throws his shield and reels himself forward into a sliding attack. Hit the shield while he is reeling in to snap it back and flip him onto his back, leaving him open to attacks.

Mob features

• Shield-and-winch dash: throws his shield ahead, tightens the rope and slides toward it with a dust trail.

• Shield counter: hit the detached shield during the dash to interrupt it. Clatter tumbles onto his back for roughly two seconds, with no shield protection, before getting up.

• Directional defense: his held shield blocks frontal attacks. Move around him to attack his exposed sides or rear.

• Close-range shield bash, sideways combat movement and recovery between attacks.

• Six procedural walking legs, authored idle, bash and slide animations, and a modeled winch rope.

• Randomized dust clouds, shield sparks, footsteps, winch sounds, attack impacts and hurt/death cues.

• Three variants: Orange, Dark Purple and Old Red. Choose one or use Mixed variants within a gang.

In-game settings

Use the RuneFist Tome to place and edit spawn areas. Set population and respawn timing, choose variants, adjust health, damage, movement speed and detection range, and assign mob drops through the in-game menus.

The spawn radius controls where mobs appear; leash distance controls how far they can move. Give Clatter clear ground and enough space for his dash. He follows traversable terrain rather than flying or charging through walls. He does not destroy or place blocks.

This product is supplied as protected runtime content for RuneFist Engine. Editable source files, including Blockbench (.bbmodel) models and behavior/configuration source files, are not included. Supported gameplay settings can be customized through RuneFist Engine in-game.

Requirements

• RuneFist Engine 0.1.3 or a later compatible 0.x release. Free, installed separately.

• ModelEngine R4.1.0, purchased and installed separately.

• Paper 1.21.11, Java 21 and Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11.

• Players must accept the server resource pack. Folia is not supported.

No MythicMobs, Nexo, ItemsAdder or RuneFX Engine required.

The download contains Clatter's protected content pack and installation instructions. RuneFist Engine, ModelEngine and the scenery shown in the pictures are not included. This is not a standalone MythicMobs configuration.
